Governor of Central Equatoria State has called on members of the Kajo-Keji Intellectual Community to actively support government efforts in promoting peace, unity, and development across the State.

Speaking during a courtesy visit by the delegation on Monday, Governor Rabi Mujung Emmanuel welcomed the group’s pledge of support and urged them to play a greater role in engaging holdout groups in the ongoing peace process.

The diverse delegation, comprising professionals from various sectors—including individuals with disabilities—congratulated the Governor on his recent appointment and expressed readiness to work closely with his administration in advancing policy and development initiatives.

The group reaffirmed its commitment to promoting inclusive, people-centered approaches to peacebuilding, service delivery, and governance.

They emphasized the importance of intellectual and community-based contributions to rebuilding trust and restoring stability in the region.

In response, Governor Mujung outlined his key priorities including enhancing peace, strengthening unity, and ensuring security for all citizens.

‎”You can also support the government in engaging the holdout groups to join the peace process so that we can help end the suffering of our people in refugee and IDP camps,” the Governor appealed.

He encouraged a strong collaboration between the State government and intellectuals in crafting solutions that reflect the needs and aspirations of the people.
