South Sudan will participate in the first global forum on youth policies in Baku, Azerbaijan, next week, the Undersecretary in the Ministry of Youth, Culture and Sports has said.

The forum will be held on the 28th of this month with the participation of about 122 countries that have developed national policies for youth.

Peter Baptist told Eye Radio’s Dawn program that the aim of the forum is to discuss the challenges facing the youth in all fields.

“In the forum there will be non-governmental organizations, policy makers in the countries, people from educational institutions and youth activists, also youth representatives,” said Mr Baptist.

South Sudan delegation will be headed by the Minister of Youth, Culture and Sports and a representative of South Sudanese youth.
