Olony seizes relief food barges

Forces loyal to Gen Johnson Olony have seized barges delivering food to Upper Nile, state officials have announced.

The food items were being delivered to the state by a humanitarian agency when the SPLM in Opposition forces seized them in Kaka on Tuesday.

Caretaker Governor Gen Chol Thon says this is a violation of the peace agreement.

No humanitarian agency has confirmed the incident so far.
